Oooooh, grandma can visit US any time she likes!Happy, Merry...
Hurray for Moms and BIG purses...
Those look yummy! A gift from Sandy Claws. Lucky, lucky you...There is nothing quite like a Newfoundland lobster. Even the ones from P.E.I. pale in comparison, I suspect because of the warmer Gulf (of St. Lawrence) waters. And don't get me started on those bug-like crayfish from down south... they creep me out.Don't forget to put plenty of salt in the water.Which raises that inevitable question about HOW you plan to cook them... the fast head-first plunge, or some kind of anesthetic first. :)Either way... enjoy!
Is there room for one more at your table? Enjoy Mom's visit and I hope your family has a very Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas from Nova S!

Sorry Geoff, they actually came from Nova Scotia! The dreadful Clearwater Seafood. But they were yummy. We shot them , what else would you do in the south:)
Looks like you need an exterminator. Giant bugs have invaded your home. ;)
thats my kind of Christmas meal!
Coming from Maine (where they crawl up onto the beach and follow you home) if there is one aspect of the lobster ritual I genuinely miss, it's kids playing with giant bugs in bathtub/on kitchen floor. Hope you enjoyed all aspects of these bugs.
