The UPS Man and I are Like This.
This has never been a review blog, and I've cringed over watching so many personal blogs turn into little more than catalog copy, but a decade's worth of repressed decorative urges are finally finding expression, and I can't help but indulge in a little show and tell, here and there. I got these quart-sized colanders when they went on sale one day for less than five dollars each, from amazon.com. They make me happy.

The joy of it is that there are still simple things in life, and for under $5(!) that can make one's day brighter. I'm all for that, and bright shiny stuff in the kitchen is such a nice change from the shiny sharp things!
Kitchen utensils bring me great joy. Especially when they are on sale.
Surrounding yourself with happy things is a *good* thing! And with those colors, I can see why. Score! :)
Gorgeous. Who could resist? Did you ever think you'd get a thrill from colanders?
Pretty colours! I have the same (kind) in dark blue.
Kitchen things make me happy as well.
I like to recommend things once in a while, only because how much can someone read about my really boring life LOL NICE COLANDERS!
I know exactly why these made you happy and why you posted this. I take photo of objects that bring me joy, too.
Love, love, love the colours.
Have I mentioned how much I love bowls. I sort of collect them, and these make me want to start collecting colanders, too.
