Interrupt-us
"Mom! Mom! Boxy's back! And he brought a friend!"
"Who's Boxy?"
"The box turtle we found last week! He has a friend! He was stuck on top of him, but we got them apart!"
"Wow. I bet Daddy knows how much he appreciated that. Don't you, honey?"

Oh my...
Poor Mr. Boxy. I see him slowly looking over his shoulder at your boy saying, "Thanks for the help," in an Eeyore voice.
Ha! Mr and Mrs turtle are very cute. Tell the boys if they leave them stuck together, they'll be even MORE turtles soon!
Two laugh out louds - first, after reading the post, second (delayed thought process but it's Monday) after re-reading the title!
Hilarious!
And very cute.
It probably took poor Boxy a week just to get into position. Oh well...
Ouch! I think I've heard that in a lot of animals, like turtles, Mr. Turtle's "apparatus" actually swells up to keep them locked together. So I imagine that was pretty painful for both turtles if they ripped them apart!
That is enough to cause soda to spew from my mouth and barely missed soaking my laptop...poor Boxy.
Management accepts no responsibility for carbonated beverages spewed into your keyboard ;-)
Kelly, let's hope the "swelling" went down as soon as three noisy and excited kids barged onto the scene.
That's how it works in our house, anyway.
Wow, who knew kids' sense of timing actually extends to cross-species mood-busting? ;)
Could it be time for that "turtles and bees" talk?
Just when Mrs. Boxy was looking foxy.
Poor Mr. Boxy, daddies everywhere are cringing.....
How cool!!
Oh!!! How this took me back to my younger days when my brother had a turtle for a pet and we used to see them all the time at my grandmothers...childhood memories are bliss.
