Congrats on all of it! Exciting times.
I'm just gonna go set my DVR for your Oprah appearance now.
:-)
You sound good on the radio, girl. Good job!
I know that it is hard to maintain perscpective about moetherhood and that it is important to free folks from the view of parenting that expects perfection. What I fear is the devaluing of the act of mothering out of self-protection that leads on to think that children need to be kept perpetually at arms length in order for any self-fulfillment to occur. Children have needs. I hope that there is enough of a reflection in the confessions that allow for connection. We already have too many excuses to stay disconnected, too many distractions.
