Dance Me to the End of Love
I plan to live to be a very old lady, with a great many grandchildren. They'll think I was always ancient, but one day I'll show them these pictures, and they'll know that my hair was once dark, and I knew true love, and in the last fiery sunset rays of my thirties, I sat in the Fox Theatre, and heard Leonard Cohen sing.

You are fortunate indeed. He is a legend, a genius, and this may (and I hope I'm not right) be the end of his touring career. What an amazing evening it must have been.

oh this. this makes my heart beat a little faster because you're great babes will be thinking those exact things.
Ah...the Fox Theatre in my hometown and Leonard Cohen too..color me seven shades of green!
I'm headed home to Atlanta for a visit just a little to late it seems.
Glad to see you giving your thirties a big send off...you are not going to believe how much you're going to enjoy the next decade.
What a way to say hello to a new decade.
Sigh...
Very happy that you were able to enjoy it firsthand - it is the perfect kickoff for what promises to be an amazing year for you.
Although I have to admit, I felt a little pang of sorrow as I read your blog this morning. Like I tweeted yesterday, I so wanted to be there. I am infinitely inspired by Cohen's words and music, not to mention I could use a dose of Canada in my new American home.
It would have been a treat to meet you as well. Perhaps the next time you are in town. Coffee would be my treat. :D
You are blessed, and part of the blessing is your sharing of it. Happy Birthday!
Great pics. Really glad you enjoyed your send off/new adventure.
Lucky you! Pretty photographs. The evening, and you, look and sound lovely.
Sounds like your birthday was wonderful! I'm so glad.
Love the shoes!
