Live by the Sharpie, Die by the Sharpie

DSC09019

I was still patting myself on the back for this "silly sock day" parent hack, when my third grader decided he'd draw his silly faces on the bottoms of his socks. And then walked all over the hardwood floors while the permanent ink was still fresh.

Those are AWESOME. Hmm, does Sharpie stain worse on hardwood or carpeting.

This post made me smile.

Nearly every morning my oldest daughter leaves me "toast faces" -- she makes unique faces from the left over toast crusts.

These socks are a brilliant idea, too, as long as the ink stays on the top of the socks, right? ;)
